Harvest
Day Tips
Come out and enjoy the day helping us harvest our
grapes and experience the start of the winemaking
process.
Here are some tips:
The day
starts out quite cool and can easily warm up
by early afternoon, so we suggest layered clothing and
sturdy shoes or boots. No sandals or open toes.
Bring a
pair of gloves. Dishwashing gloves work
best since they are flexible, more so than work gloves.
These gloves will protect you from the stickyness of the
grapes.
Bring your
medicine if you are allergic to bees!
Bring a
pair of garden snips or a sturdy pair of
scissors, we do not have enough pairs of our own to go
around.
NO PETS ALLOWED!
